Headteacher's Welcome

I am extremely proud to be the Acting Headteacher at Emmanuel Holcombe CE Primary School, supported by a highly skilled, caring and dedicated team of teachers and support staff.

Emmanuel Holcombe is a small, village, Church of England Primary School, nestled at the foot of Holcombe Hill. Our vision is that Jesus came to give life in all its fulness and that through faith, family and friendship, each of us can grow in love and learning. We place huge importance on being tolerant; building resilience; and developing enquiring minds.

At Emmanuel CE Primary School, the children are at the heart of every decison we make and we are passionate about providing an education relevant to their needs both now, and in the future. All staff believe that there is no limit to what all of our children can achieve. We strongly believe in providing exciting, creative and meaningful learning experiences, which inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instill a love of life-long learning.

We are dedicated to building a whole school Christian community, which thrives on mutual respect, values and positive relationships.  Children learn best when there are strong links between home and school and so we encourage families to work in partnership with us, to successfully help each child to achieve their full potential.

I hope you enjoy finding out more about our school by browsing our website. Visits to school are encouraged and welcomed: we would be delighted to show you around our school. We also pride ourselves on open communications, so if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact school.

I look forward to meeting you.
