Admissions and Open Days

Individual tours of school are also offered all year round.

We are delighted that you are interested in a place for your child at Emmanuel Holcombe Church of England Primary School.

Our intake number into Preschool is 13 and is made up of part-time and full-time places. Our intake in Reception is 15. Admission into Preschool and all year groups, except Reception, are managed  by the school office. A place in our Preschool gives you priority for a place in our Reception.

We offer several Open Days throughout the year. This is an ideal opportunity to see school in action. If you can not attend Open Day, please contact us to arrange a convenient time to visit us, we would be delighted to show you around.

Reception 2025 applications:

All parents and carers of children starting Primary School must apply for a Reception place at their chosen school. You must still apply if you have a place in our Preschool and if your child has siblings in school.

You should apply via the local authority website.

 

1st November 2024 - Applications open on Bury’s website.

​

15th January 2025 – Closing date for applications. Applications received after 15th January 2023 will be treated as late applications. Remember a late application will not be considered until all online applications have been offered places.

​

16th April 2025 – Allocation day. Emails will be sent after 9am for those that applied online. Letters will be posted to non-online applicants.

 

16th May 2025 - Last day for submitting an appeal.
