Welcome to Oak Class
Have a look at our Seesaw work here. We have been working extra hard.
Our Learning Spaces
We enjoy having a flexible classroom seating environment where
we choose different places to work depending on the task
that we are doing and where we like to work.
The Cloud Room
We love to read for pleasure in the cloud room. We do come group work in here too. It's lovely when we turn off the main lights and use the twinkly ceiling lights instead.
Oak Class TEAM
Welcome to our wonderful Oak Class!
The children in Oak Class are in Years 5 and 6, and they are supported by our staff team which include the following adults: Mrs Brocklehurst, Mrs Bulmer and Miss Halliwell. Mrs Bulmer teaches on a Monday, Tuesday and into Wednesday whilst Mrs Brocklehurst teaches the rest of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Miss Halliwell supports learning all week.
Being the oldest class in the school, we love to set a great example to the rest of the children, and we enjoy looking out for the younger members of our Emmanuel family.
Oak Class enjoy a rich and varied curriculum and strive to be happy, independent learners who value teamwork, resilience and kindness.
Come and see us in action!
We'd be happy to give you a guided tour.
See our most recent work on our Seesaw blog.
We love to take our learning outside the classroom. Being so close to such amazing outdoor spaces makes our school special. We love to explore the local woods as well as getting out onto the moors. What fabulous places to learn in. It gets us out and active too.
We have been up to some fantastic learning this term.
We hope you enjoyed seeing all the things that we have been doing.
