At Emmanuel Holcombe, we run our history curriculum on a 2 year cycle. The geography topics are embedded in the learning topics for the block. This allows synthesis of learning and the children to develop a deep understanding of the subjects. The programme has been developed to ensure full coverage of the national curriculum and additional time spent on local geography.
