Art and design long term plan

The art and design curriculum teaches children in progressive steps throughout school.

At Emmanuel Holcombe, we run our Art and Design curriculum on a 2-year cycle. The programme has been developed to ensure full coverage of the national curriculum.

Each year, the children study an artist and a range of skills that are woven through the curriculum to enhance synthesis of learning.
