Every year, we have five theme weeks built into our curriculum  to enhance and extend our curriculum. This year our theme weeks are Friendship, Christmas,  Easter, The Queen's Jubilee and Enterprise week.

Last year our theme weeks were wellbeing, Christmas, British values, Easter and the Tokyo Olympics. Our displays in the hall show off our learning from our theme week.

THEME DAYS

Christmas Week

Following the success of our Easter experience, we were again delighted to be able to learn alongside our Church community in our Christmas experience. Because the Covid restrictions are less, we were able to hold this in Church.

Friendship Week

We enjoyed finding ways to celebrate friendship,  accept everyone and  embrace tolerance.

Easter

We were delighted to work with members of our community to learn all about the Easter story.

It was a great turnout for our outdoor service. .

Our British values week helped us to think about life in modern Britain. We are looking at how many of the things we take for granted are based in these values and how important they are.

The children enjoyed their well being themed day and took part in lots of different activities such as; baking, dancing, sports, lego, kite making, orienteering, music-making, sewing and to finish the day off, we walked up to Holcombe Hill to enjoy a lovely picnic in the gorgeous sunny weather!
